"How We Did It,Before ,During and After-The Vancouver Experience"

In order to support Shanghai bidding for World Expo 2010,a workshop named "How We Did It,Before,During and After-The Vancouver Experience" was held on August 26th in Jinjiang Hotel,Shanghai. The workshop was organized by Canadian Consulate General Shanghai,Shanghai Urban Planning Administration Bureau,K.F.Stone Design International Inc.Canada.
Vice Mayor of Shanghai-Zhou Yupeng ,Canadian Consul General-Stewart Beck,Director of SUPB(TBC)-Xia Liqing were attended and made a speech.

1. Mr.Patrick Reid-Chairman of the Rich Hansen Institute at the University of British Columbia gave a speech about "Securing the Bid, Understanding the Politics and Organizing the Event."
2.Dr.Peter Fu -President of K.F.Stone International Inc, Canada gave a speech about "World Expo 2010,Shanghai-Chance and Challenge for City Development".

3.Zheng Shiling-Vice President of Tongji University gave a speech about "Shanghai and World Expo 2010 Shanghai".
Mr. Sebastian Butler from DGBK talked about "After Use Concept, The Expo Site as a Legacy for City of Shanghai". Mr.Ian Smith-City of Vancouver Planning Department talked about "The Creation of a Wonderful City". Tang Zilai-Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Urban Planning, Tongji University talked about "The Selection and After Use of the Expo Site". Su Gongzhou-Associate Chief Engineer for Shanghai Urban Planning and Design Institute talked about "The Planning of Huangpu River Banks".
