The design is for a five star hotel in a high-technology zone east of Shenxianshu Road South in Chengdu, in Sichuan Province. The tower building is fourteen storeys, with two podiums and one underground level, with 319 suites, several conference rooms, restaurants and entertainment facilities. The tower is designed to be a high quality, multi-use hotel in Chengdu.

The tower is situated inside 'Shanghai Garden' and enclosed by streets. The 2000m2 City Park is south of the tower. The hotel has some great views of the surrounding landscape. This quality has been the guiding principle for the orientation of the suites, of which eighty percent face the open green area. The different traffic systems as well as the functional systems are designed to be separate from the nearby residential activities. The neo-classical style of the hotel, with a 11-storey high atrium, forms the harmonious link between the modern style apartment buildings and the classical European style commercial areas.
